Companion Pictures Filming TWN at Sullivan Hall
Last night I raved about Arcade Fire’s cinematic performance video “Ready to Start”. It went above and beyond any generic concert footage I have ever seen, capturing the raw emotion of the band at every moment. I have always dreamed of filming a live show like the one at Hackney Empire with a band as passionate as Arcade Fire.
This Friday September 16th, Companion Pictures gets its chance. The wolf pack is heading to Sullivan Hall in New York City to film The Wild Northern!
The Wild Northern is lead by singer/songwriter Roland Eckstein and lead guitarist Brian Gallagher. The rest of the band is comprised of Jim Abdon on bass and Andy Guirini on drums. The Wild Northern, or TWN as they like to call themselves, are a “ blend of Folk Rock rhythms, Southern Rock inspired leads, and soaring vocal harmonies, TWN brings folk & southern rock roots back into the pop music fold.”
The Wild Northern will be playing several songs off their recent LP “Line of Demarcation”, including the title track. Companion Pictures will be releasing a performance video of the song “The Demarcation”. So look for that video to drop soon!
If you are going to the Sullivan Hall show be prepared for a night a great music and high energy. Even in their infancy, the Wild Northern plays like a seasoned band.
