Welcome to the Pack

We would like to welcome you to Companion Pictures’ official blog. We have been posting for a few weeks, but hadn’t really announced exactly the Wolf Pack Blog is. So here goes…

In college we were briefly known as “Lupine Pictures” from the Latin “lupinus,” meaning resembling or pertaining to wolves (because come on, wolves are just awesome). Our original logo featured three wolves gathering beneath a full moon, mostly because of the rave reviews of three wolf moon shirts on Amazon. In 2008 we changed the name to Companion and last year we slimmed the logo down to one wolf. As companions who have always been represented by wolves, we have long referred to ourselves internally as the wolf pack.

This company creates media to be consumed by friends and strangers alike and honestly, that’s just way more fun when the viewers know a little bit about where we’re coming from. We pour ourselves into everything we make, but another great way for our viewers to connect with us is hearing what we have to say in our own words.

We will post anything and everything from movie reviews to technology news or whatever other interesting shenanigans we feel like sharing, as well as news and updates on whatever projects are on the horizon. Not to be confused with our more formal official website, the Wolf Pack Blog is meant to be a portal for us to connect with the viewers. So please critique us in the comments, send us suggestions for posts, and check in as often as you like. We want to hear from you, so don’t be a stranger.
